Finally we arrived at our destination enjoying the warm climate with sun every day.
After a while we got used to the new life with hiking in the mountains every weekend.
Puerto de Mogan is a beautiful place where life is slow and the weather is stable.
We even found a local gym that we used every day.

After a while we realized that staying here for one winter was enough, and when Christmas had been and gone, we started planning for the trip back to Norway and we even set a date, April 3rd.
Lots of stuff had to be done to get the boat ready for sailing all the way back to Norway, we decided to buy a new life raft since the one we had was out of date and nobody on the island wanted to re-certify it,  all the batteries in the boat was old, so we had to replace them too.

All the new stuff could be bought at Rolnautics in Las Palmas, so one day we went there to order the new life raft and buy the batteries.
Arriving back to the pontoon with 3 new batteries that are really heavy, Robert decided to put them on a trolley to ease the move from the car to the boat.

Now one of these really stupid moments arrives.
Robert gets the idea that it would be even easier if he just used the trolley all the way out on the pontoon, which was a stupid idea, the trolley flipped over on the steep decline from the harbour to the pontoon. The new batteries fell into the water and was lost. To get the batteries out of the water to be delivered for disposal Robert had to go to the boat and get some rope and his diving equipment. Needless to say that we was really angry with himself. Luckily the incident was accepted by the insurance company and we got the money for new batteries.
