Cascais was a very nice town and we used the day for some shopping and laundry. On the Facebook group "Seilere på facebook" we came in contact with another Norwegian sailboat, S/Y Silfrania staying in Cascais . It was really nice to meet some like-minded people and we had a really nice evening with good food and good wine. Robert and Sissel is a couple with much more experience in sailing than we have so we tried to get as many tips as possible.
The Cascais marina was by far the most expensive marine we stopped at. Most marinas charged between 30-35 Euro for a night but in this marina we had to pay 72 Euro! In front of us we now had the longest crossing, Cascais to Madeira. Even longer than crossing the bay of Biscay. Heidi was not looking forward to this stretch as staying multiple days in the sea without seeing anything but water really sucks.
