Friday morning and we are up early. We are filling up the tank with diesel getting ready for the next leg all the way to Kristiansand. It is just wonderful having breakfast on a sailboat watching the sunrise, unfortunately there is no wind so we have to motor all the way to Krisiansand.
Heidi is searching the internet looking for a dinghy and an outboard motor to buy as our experience prooved that with a dinghy and an outboard, we might have been able to use that to get us safely to Egersund. She managed to find the perfect dinghy, a 12 fot with an old 2-stroke engine that runs without problems paying just 5000 kr, and even managed to get a friend of the previous owner to meet us at the harbor in Kristiansand to deliver the dinghy :-) We are arriving at Kristiansand just av it's getting dark, and the guy with the dingy is there, Robert jumps in for a test drive and it seems ok. We now have a dinghy on our sailboat and as the sailboat is named Matahari (Sun), the dingy gets the natural name Bulan (Moon). After a long day it's nice to relax on deck with a beer together with a guy that we met in Egersund sailing a 50 foot sailboat alone all the way to Oslo.
