We have been doing a lot of work but now things are starting to come together, Matahari is getting a new look and fresh new details.
Matahari stickers were bought last autumn but the ones in the bow has been wating for rubbing and cleaning, but today was the day we had them mounted and it looks really good.
The old sprayhood was falling apart and in the shade light 70's blue, which we could not have when everything else is dark marine. So last autumn we ordered new sprayhood and bimini and we have now mounted them today and it's much better. The new bimini top attaches to the sprayhood with zippers so it is easy to just have one or the other up. It really makes this boat a better place to be, and we will now keep dry during light rain and we have shade in the cockpit on sunny days, all important little details when sailing and living aboard.
As we are sailing along the coast of Sweeden on our way to Spain this summer it is important that the waste management is in order. In Sweeden it is forbidden to empty the head tank anywhere, so to empty your waste you have to stop at spesial stations in the harbours to use a machine to pump your tank empty. Our waste lid was old and difficult to open, so we changed it to a new and skinny lid. All hoses for the head in the bow and the aft are now new so we shouldn't have any problems i that department.
